Zonkey have been established in Bath since 2010 and we’re specialists in building WordPress websites. We’ve worked with council websites for a number of years and it was in 2020 that we completely redeveloped our bespoke WordPress theme to create a council-specific one with the emphasis being on accessibility to meet WCAG 2.1 requirements that were in place for all councils.

Since that time we’ve taken on more council clients and our theme has continued to be developed. All our councils have their own bespoke theme running on top of our base theme. As we add new functionality, this is rolled out to all councils.
